Unbroken Round Table

After putting together a bunch of small ‘unbroken side tables, moving on to a larger coffee table was inevitable.
The glass tabletop is from our old family dinner table, the table stand used to be made made out of bamboo but is long gone. The glass is full of little scratches and damages, which I love to know that they are all made by my brother and me when we were kids doing all kinds of crafts on that table.
The table traveled with us from Latin America, to The Netherlands, back to Latin America and back to The Netherlands – and now somehow the glass ended up at my workspace. My little brother Jos recently joined our team there at Aetelier and we had our first team meeting with him together at this table. Full circle. Very ready to add even more scratches!
Ugh, the gorgeous aesthetics!
