Keeping wardrobe choices uncomplicated means more brain space for other things.
In decision making and psychology, decision fatigue refers to the deteriorating quality of decisions made after a long session of decision making. So if you make fewer decisions in the morning, you’ll perform better during the rest of your day. (My morning decisions tend to be a lot about shoes, clothes, which coat, to wash or not to wash my hair..) Jeans + a nice turtleneck is always the answer to stop this train of thought and fight decision fatigue.
