I’d recommend going over the tip of the paper Clip, that will slide through your ear, with a metal file first, and finer files afterwards. I’ve hurt myself many a times when trying to thread such a Piece of metal through piercing holes. There always are some metal Spikes or unseen ridges, so pay Attention and look closely to it.
