Old CDs as Mirrored Coasters
Instead of throwing away those old CDs and DVDs, I use them as coasters. While cleaning out old and damaged discs, I didn’t want to throw away these iridescent and mirrored objects. They catch the light so beautifully when they are lying on the glass table holding a glass of water and the sun shines on them through the window. It is one of those little things that I can immensely enjoy.
This is simple and genius, I love it! 🙂
I used to do it when I was a student. Just loved that surface… x

This is genius!
Totally 90’s …
You have to get it right in the style of your Home design/deco thu, this idea with a wrong deco will look totally tacky, but what a great recycle stuff to do.
In France I saw people using it to make birds flying away from their windows (displaying them outside hanging from a wire)
As a fairly “technological” family we’ve unintentionally done something like this for years, placing mugs and glasses on old PC backups and forgotten games… As usual, though, Ivania, you have a way of making it look 10x more chic!
i weep on how genius you are. you simply are :’)
