Layered Glass Picture Frame

need
/ a couple of pieces of glass
/ a clip
/ a picture

Assemble the glass squares and rectangles with a picture in between and clip together. I framed this snapshot I took of Romeo’s new haircut instead of the usual taping it to the wall. Next thing I’m doing is adding more glass and one or two more pictures to have them overlapping and looking like a 3D collage.

nice! it may also look very cool when you print the pictures on transparant paper/sheets – for the more 3d effect you already mentioned 🙂

  23. I tried this and the clip would not hold the glass. The pieces wanted to slide out when I would lift it up. Did you use a special clip or have some means of securing it? I used a regular binder clip from the office supply store. My glass was a bit thinner than what your looks like.

  24. Where can I get picture frames like this in Victoria? These ones look so modern, I just love them! Are you very familiar with this company at all: http://www.prestigepictureframing.ca?
