The only reason that wild flowers are not a mainstream bouquet staple is because they grow too abundantly. My favorite flowers are basically bad weeds, masses of them flourish around this time of year. It is much easier to make business out of roses or rare tulips, things that don’t grow on the side of the road. If the sun belonged to Shell, everything would probably be powered on solar energy. Same principle with these flowers; Because it is so hard to commercialize them, they almost don’t exist in our media-centered reality, meanwhile they are everywhere.
Yesterday I picked a big bunch and put them on a pedestal – where they should be.
