My love for the basic, mundane, unspecific, everyday objects just got yet a bit stronger.
They are like building blocks for anything you can imagine. Yesterday I stacked my DIY anonymous books, added a glass circle and finally stacked one last heavy book on the pile to keep the glass in place, creating a new side table.
So beautiful.
My current favorite piece of ‘furniture’.
so cute

LOVE IT!
You’re so good at this.
Beautiful. You should do a house tour one of these days : )
Love the minimalism.
Genius simplicity.
Will try this at home!
Truly beautiful

Love, Love, Love this idea. Can use my old uni course books haha
This is a GREAT idea. Looks great in your signature white, but can easily be customized to individual styles.

Such a simple concept but with a big impact. I wonder about the stability though, I’d worry about tipping the glass sheet over every time I put something on it!
I love everything about your site and realise white minimalist is your thing but must say from a readers perspective sometimes its so hard to see clearly what you are photographing/projects you have made etc because of the white on white, (white products on a white background). Would love to see things more clearly if poss.
so brilliant! books are amazing and this is a great way to use them
