need:
/ rubber floor material
/ stud button
/ nail
/ stanley knife

Yes, I did snatch this material from this construction site at the station. I’ve always found it so beautiful, resembling a natural granite. It is pressed, partly recycled rubber, made out of black, white, grey and a small percentage of cream particles. The cream particles diffuse the graphic look of TV-noise and make it more stone-like. Oh I love it so much!

When I picked up these scraps from the station works, it was immediately clear what they were going to be repurposed for.



step 1/
Cut the rubber a long strip with a stanley knife.



step 2/
Make two (small) holes in the rubber by putting the nail through the material and taking it out again.



step 3/
Apply the stud button.

      Sure you could! you can make the strips as thin as you want ­čÖé I must say that I also prefer wearing the thin one
