Although they do not get the most likes, they are the ones that excite me most.

You might recognize these images from my instagram feed. They are all about material, close ups of texture, often deconstructed or broken materials and patterns. Today I got the idea to bring my little collection of images that has been building up in my phone out of the digital realm and onto paper.

I love how everyone unintentionally creates series and ongoing photography projects with their phones. Snapping architecture, details of cars, a specific way of capturing nature or like my little brother; misplaced cones without a purpose.

All printed out on old fashioned photo format and physically on the table my textures looked even nicer. I paired up different ones, similar ones, contrasting ones together and bundled them into a go-to inspiration book, a little archive of my own references. Put together with glue, silver-tape and slits in the paper; you could also call it a DIY coffee table book.
