27-87 / Contemporary Scents From Barcelona
Natural and hand crafted perfumes are a rare thing to come by these days.
Synthetic mass produced scents in sparkly bottles rule the industry.
That’s why I am delighted to introduce you to this independent, super fresh perfume house from Barcelona; 27-87. Who provide a series of hand crated fragrances in beautiful white matte metal bottles. (The reason that their bottles are plain is that they don’t distract from what really matters, the product and scent that is inside).
27-87 works together with olfatic talents like Mark Buxton, who also composed another favorite scent of mine Hien Lee and is the nose behind a lot of Comme des Garçons fragrances as well.
My personal pick from 27-87’s unisex collection is ‘Wandervogel’ which combines mint, shisho leaves and musk. Though I might also steal a spritz from Romeo’s (much sweeter) pick ‘Hamaca’ that smells like coconut, vanilla and sandalwood.
I would get this just for the packaging. So gorgeous.
